this is the laziest thing i’ve seen in my entire life
Hysterical!

One of my conditions for remaining until the end of the month was to be removed from phone duty. I asked him if he had assigned anyone, he said no. “Then today is my last day.”
He made such an argument about not being able to reassign the phones to anyone, yet he showed no effort in taking me seriously. He barely paid attention to me when I was listing the two conditions. He even said he would speak to the receptionist. As far as I know he didn’t.
If he really wanted to keep me then I am quite sure he was fully capable to use some added effort in addressing the situation in finding a suitable solution. Now he has no one to cover phones and no one to cover the rest of my duties.
I don’t see this as a victory. This is a situation that could have easily been avoided if managment had managed the incident before it escalated into what it had become. A straight up mess.
I am beyond tired of having to deal with our secretary and the unprofessional bullshit she brings to my face. I nearly walked out of Friday, but I decided not to. Took the weekend to relax and just be me. After giving notice I informed my boss that I will no longer cover the phones for the secretay’s lunch since that is the primary factor for the desputes between us. Also that I will no longer endure her verbal abuse. If either is not met, I’m walking out early. I have done my best to be civil and compromising, but with the poor management and lack of response to this matter that I have mentioned to them several times about, I am officially done with this job.
This No Kill cat shelter is trying to raise funds to move to a new location (landlord issues is my understanding). They are drastically short of their goal, though, and have 13 hours left on their fundraiser.
Tumblr has done awesome things for cats, lets help an organization that will help lots of cats over the years. you can donate as little as $1! Spread the word!
